RESERVE SERIE
Unsere RESERVE SERIE besteht aus drei verschiedenen Whiskysals Standardabfuellungen, sowie in der nahen Zukunft der Eifel Rummel. Alle reifen in unterschiedlichen Faessern. Sie werden mit natuerlicher Farbe und ausschliesslich einer Partikelfiltration abgefuellt. Das Alter der Braende liegt aktuell zwischen 5 und 8 Jahren.
„AHRTALER“ - Eifel Whisky Reserve SINGLE RYE
Roggen Whisky aus dem „OMEGA“ Barrique
Destilliert zu 90% aus ROGGEN und 10% ungetorftem GERSTENMALZ. Die komplette Reifung erfolgt in erstbelegten „OMEGA“ Süßwein Barrique aus amerikanischer Weisseiche von der aeltesten Winzergenossenschaft Deutschland (1868!) MAYSCHOSS - ALTENAHR an Deutschlands kleinem und feinem "Rotweinfluss", der AHR. Destillation 2019 Abfuellung 2024
„VULKANEIFEL“ - Eifel Whisky Reserve SINGLE MALT
Gerstenmalz Whisky aus dem PORT Cask
Destilliert aus 100% ungetorftem GERSTENMALZ. Die Reifung erfolgte 2 Jahre in Refill Bordeaux Barriques, die Nachreifung für 6 Jahre in einem frisch - entleerten PORT Cask. Destillation 2016 Abfuellung 2024
„HOHES VENN“ - Eifel Whisky Reserve MALT & PEAT
Destilliert aus WEIZENMALZ und GERSTENMALZ (GETORFT & UNGETORFT). Die Reifung erfolgt in erstbelegten Rotwein Barriques, die Nachreifung in frischentleerten PEDRO XIMÉNEZ (P.X.) Faessern aus amerikanischer Weisseiche. Destillation 2017 Abfuellung 2024.

EIFEL RUMMEL® (Eifeler Dialekt für Zuckerruebe)
Traditionell werden am Eifelrand um Meckenheim (Region Bonn) Zuckerrueben angepflanzt. Sie werden fuer die Produktion von Zucker und von Zuckerruebensirup () genutzt. Ueberregional bekannt ist der „Grafschafter Goldsaft“ der seit 1893 in der Grafschafter Krautfabrik Josef Schmitz in Meckenheim erzeugt wird. Er traegt das EU Guetezeichen „Geschuetzte geografische Angabe“. Leider erlaubt uns der Gesetzgeber nicht das Produkt in der Kategorie RUM (gilt nur für Destillate aus Zuckerrohr, sic!) zu verkaufen, so ist unsere EIFEL RUMMEL eine „SPIRITUOSE“, eben „ANDERSRUM“ ;)

RESERVE RANGE
Our RESERVE RANGE consists of 3 different whiskys and and in the near future of the Eifel Rummel „AndersRum“ made from local sugar beet and distilled like a rum without the official permisson to call it „Rum“. They have all been matured in various casks. The average age of the whiskys is 5 to 8 years and they are bottled at 46%Vol.Alc. with natural colour and just a light particle filtration.
THE PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE IN 350 ML BOTTLES.

Distilled from 90% RYE and 10% unpeated BARLEY MALT. Matured in first fill OMEGA SWEET WINE (Port Style) barriques from Germany`s oldest wine grower cooperative (1868!) MAYSCHOSS-ALTENAHR on the small „RED WINE RIVER“ AHR, tributary to the mighty RHINE south of Cologne. Distillation 2019 Bottled 2024

Distilled from 100% Wheat- & Barley Balt (peated 35 ppm & unpeated), one third of each, first maturation in various red wine barriques, second maturation (4 years +) in first fill PEDRO XIMÉNEZ (P.X.) barrels. Distillation 2017 Bottled 2024
EIFEL RUMMEL® (Eifel Dialect for Sugar Beet)
Traditionally there is a lot of sugar beet cultivation between the northern part of the Eifel and the borders of the river Rhine. These sugar beets are used for the sugar production as well as for Golden Syrup. For this the sugar beet is cut into pieces and then boiled and reduced until youhave just a golden very sweet syrup left. Spread on bread or used for baking it is a very traditional product. We have managed to distill this syrup which has a seal of controlled origin (like an AOC in wine) just like you would distill molasses derived from sugar cane. As we are legally not allowed to call it RUM, we call it ANDERSRUM (meaning in English „the other way round“ and incorporating in German the syllable RUM ;)

Die 746.9 EDITIONS SERIE stellt die Qualitaetsspitze unserer Produktion dar. 746.9 Meter ist die Hoehe der HOHEN ACHT, des hoechsten Berges der Eifel. Die Serie besteht aus drei Whiskys sowie einem Rum und einem Brandy mit Altersangabe von 10 bis 12 Jahren. Alle Produkte werden mit natuerlicher Farbe und ausschliesslich einer Partikelfiltration abgefuellt.

Destilliert aus Zuckerrohr - Melasse im Pot-Still Verfahren von einer Brennerei auf Jamaica, dort 1 Jahr im Bourbon Fass gereift und dann weitere 11 Jahre in einem Oloroso Sherry Fass in der Eifel langsam gereift.

Aus PINOT NOIR destilliert und zuerst 6 Jahre im PINOT NOIR Barrique und dann

The 746.9 LIMITED EDITIONS RANGE represents the top quality of our production. 746.9 metres is the height of the HOHE ACHT, the highest mountain of the Eifel. The range consists of three Whiskys and one Rum with an age statement of 10 to 12 years, they are bottled with natural colour and just a light particle filtration. The „PEAK“ is the best of the best as Single Cask Bottlings.
